Battery Life: Charging Nissan Leaf at CCS Hypercharger
Delivered in a week I tried it at 2 different chargers, and it worked flawlessly. I couldn't test the max. charging speed yet since the battery was 70% full, but I already saw 50kW for a short time before the amps went down again. That wasn't possible with ChaDeMo before, which maxed out at 45kW with my Leaf ZE1 62kWh. I wished the adapter was cheaper, but - well, it's a niche product, what do you expect?
Update: Did new test with a lower charge level and it works perfectly with an Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC_150 - I'm getting 75kW with the max. rated 200A
It looks like it works as designed. Our Sigenergy DC loader is accepting the adapter, but now we have to find out the perfect setting and communication.
Maybe my leaf will be able to communicate with the battery and expanding my home battery
