The NACS to CCS2 DC & AC Charging Adapter connects a NACS charging connector to a CCS2-equipped electric vehicle, supporting both AC and DC charging. The manufacturer specifically describes it as intended for charging European-standard EVs from NACS DC/AC charging stations.
With ratings of up to 1000V / 250A for DC charging and 250V / 80A for AC charging, the adapter is designed for both high-power DC charging and everyday AC charging. It features silver-plated copper conductors, IP54 protection when connected, and built-in thermal protection that automatically stops operation if the adapter body reaches 85°C.
A built-in mechanical locking system secures the charging connector during use. The adapter also includes a dedicated switch for selecting the charging mode: press for AC charging and release for DC charging, according to the supplied specification sheet.
