A lot of people thought such a conversion was impossible. For over 10 years CHAdeMO drivers had no other fast charging option. There are almost no new CHAdeMO stations and drivers have to entirely rely on the old infrastructure. Their maintenance is also neglected which often leads to unsuccessful charging attempts. Charging companies in Europe have now entirely switched their focus on installing faster CCS2 stations as the majority of the EV owners require these. This is the reason why the CCS2 to CHAdemo adapter was so highly anticipated.
This is a game changer for all Nissan Leaf (and other CHAdeMO) owners who would like to continue using their vehicles on longer trips without the need to worry about the few CHAdeMO stations and their working status. Since now all CHAdemo cars will be able to charge at the CCS2 charging station via this adapter.

All orders are shipped from the EU, there is no import tax for EU customers. The adapter comes with a 1-year warranty, lifetime software support, and a 14-day return period. EU customers will receive their orders within 7 days of shipment.
The adapter works with an 18650 rechargeable battery which powers up the “computer” inside. You need to charge the battery only the first time, after that it will be automatically charged. You will also receive a USB flash drive for updates and a USB cable to upload future firmware updates/ extract log files.
